AGI

A hypothetical level of AI capability equal to or exceeding human-level performance across all cognitive tasks. AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) is an AI system capable of performing any intellectual task that a human can perform, including reasoning, planning, and learning across entirely new domains without task-specific training.

As of 2025, AGI has not been achieved. Current AI systems, including the most capable LLMs, are considered narrow AI — highly capable in specific domains but lacking the general adaptability that defines AGI.
